Wacky Wednesday

And happy birthday, Betsy!!

We voted!

On Super Tuesday, Eric and I (and his red and blue monster trucks) showed to the polls early (7 am). We were greeted by 15 friendly volunteers...and no other voters. So much for the long lines! But we did our civic duty and both got stickers. Go Hillary!

Snow!

Today we woke up to about an inch (which is a lot in VB). Since I have an early riser, Eric and I headed out to explore the snow before I had to go to work. We saw lots of birds, followed dog paws, spelled our names and made a few snow balls. Eric definitely loves snow!

Valentine's visitors

This past weekend, Farmor and Farfar drove down to catch up with us. We had a great time going to swimming, baking cookies, cooking and exploring the outdoors (in 20 degree weather - brr). Christian and I even got a date night in :). Thanks for the visit!!

Winter swim lessons

For the past 4 Saturday's Eric has taken swim lessons with our friends Ayla and her mom, Natalie. Eric is definitely a fish and doesn't mind getting dunked (actually loves it). Bring on summer!

MONSTER TRUCKS

Yesterday we went to the Hampton Coliseum to see MONSTER TRUCKS! Monster trucks are Eric's favorite toy and he loved them just as much in person. MJ and Poppi came down for the show. First we went to the pits to "touch the tires" and then it was the main show. Eric had a blast and was such a good boy (especially for not having a nap). He even met one of the drivers and was on TV! 

Daddy visits the zoo

We took advantage of Christian's easier schedule and the 60 degree weather and went to the zoo. Most of the animals were out and playing and we took the train around the grounds too. Fun Sunday morning!
