Botanical weekend

Hans and his girlfriend, Amanda, came down to VB for a visit. They came over and played games with the boys and then Saturday we took them to the botanical gardens. After the garden tour, Hans and Eric made everyone brunch.  Sunday evening we met Ayla, Pete and Natalie at the botanical gardens for the million bulb walk. 

Soccer season comes to an end

Eric had his last soccer game of the season for his team “Dolphin Mets”. His coach even got him a trophy with his name on it! 

Cville trip!

The first weekend of November we went to Cville to visit MJ and Poppi and Aunt mare and Uncle Tom who were visit from New Mexico. We went to a Uva football game for about 5 minutes due to the rain and otherwise caught up and let Mare and Tom relive the days of when their boys were young.  And the next week, we voted! And VA won some huge democratic victories!

Halloweeen!

The best holiday is here! Well was here because I am incredibly behind in posting...the boys were sharks - Eric a hammerhead and Zach a great white - Mom was a life guard (or as Eric called me, the beach police) and Christian was the surfer (who may have suffered from a few shark bites...). We went trick or treating with our good friends the Green family who dressed up as Star Wars 

Farmor and Farfar visit; Zach’s first hair cut!

The weekend before Halloween, Farmor and Farfar came down for a visit. Later in the weekend, zach got his first haircut! He was pretty skeptical but stayed very still...

MJ & Poppi visit! And pumpkins!

This past weekend, MJ and Poppi came to visit us while daddy was in Sweden. We went to Eric's soccer game, got new Peppa books, and visited the beach house we are renting for thanksgiving.  We also discovered that Zach is starting to copy what we say like "boom", "dog" and "thank you." Thanks for your visit! On Sunday afternoon, we met Ayla, Pete and Natalie at hunt club farm to see the animals, roll in hay, take a hay ride, and get some pumpkins.
