Weekend things

This past weekend, we met up with some friends at the botanical gardens and a new park. Mom and dad even got a date night in!

Swedish cousins!

This past weekend we went up to NOVA to visit with Linnea and Julien who are over from Sweden for the week. We also got to visit with Tove, Hans, Freddie, Farmor, and Farfar. Saturday we got some pool and BBQ time in. Then on Sunday, we met up with Suzanne, Kevin, Betsy and Lydia to explore the Natural Histoty museum. 

Zach Moves to Room 2

Yesterday, Zach moved out of the baby room to room 2 with Ms. Shelby. He was really excited because Room 2 has new toys and more room to roam around - plus his buddy Colin in there. But I was kind of sad to leave his teachers in the baby room - our boy is growing up!

Our Mr. Bubba Turns 1!

On 8/3/2017 our sweet Zach turned ONE!! Hard to believe an entire YEAR has passed. We have so loved getting to know our mr. Bubba and we can't wait to see what else is in store for him. At his 1 year well check up he weighed in at 26.6 lbs and measured 31". He is very closing to walking (has taken a few wobbly steps), but that hasn't stopped him from getting into anything and everything.  He loves balls, smiling, the refrigerator, his brother, his family, eating (most of the time), anything Eric plays with, smiling, talking (some times so loudly!), smiling, remotes (that actually work!), growling at animals (real or fake), smiling, water play, and being our sweet boy. We had a fun weekend celebrating our boy. Thanks for all who traveled!!

A cruising 11 month ago!

Yesterday, on 7/3, our Zach turned 11 months -- can't believe he is almost a year! He has more curly/wavy hair, has two teeth about to come in, can cruise and get any where he wants - even let's go and stand for a few moments, talks up a storm and points for emphasis, is getting picky about food, waves "bye bye" only at daycare, is 25 lbs (maybe more), is 30 inches (or maybe more), and is still our most smiley, happy guy!

Summer road trips

The past two weekends, we spent traveling to visit family and friends. First stop was up to NOVA to meet sweet baby Lydia born 6/15! We also got to visit with Christian's cousins, Olof, Annalie, Kian, and Tove and celebrate Father's Day. 

The next weekend we headed to Charlottesville to visit MJ and Poppi and meet up with some of my high school friends and their kids. On this road trip, the boys got to test out their new car seats!
