A New Cup

Yesterday when I picked up Eric from daycare, I noticed that he was not in the same clothes that I dressed him in that morning. At first I thought "oh no, not another poop indicent...", but his teachers said he figured out how to take off the lid of his cup and dumped his milk on himself several times (it has been a busy laundry week!).  So after school we went to the store and Eric picked out a new cup with a screw lid. 

Tonight, I gave him one of the old cups...and I found that Eric had removed the lid and dumped the water all over the floor. Silly momma, smart toddler. 

Saturday at HK on the Bay

Dad got an unexpected day off before his  trip to Sverige. The whole family went to the favorite lunch spot on the bay, HK on the Bay! Eric loved being outside in the sunny almost 70 degree weather. Beautiful day with the whole family. Eric likes to look at the boats and bridge. He ate shrimp and his favorite vegetable, broccoli!!!

Farfar visits!

So farfar came down to visit on Sunday October 12 to Tuesday October 14th to see the little giant Eric. Unfortunately dad had to work on Monday. Eric wasn't feeling well so farfar did a great job distracting Eric and making his sick day much better! Eric loves his Legos and building new structures like his dad did when he was younger! At night, we had a pre-birthday celebration for farfar and Eric made a book of his favorite memories from the Bergman beach week at Sand bridge. Thanks for all he great help and support farfar!!! 

Two Daycare Stories: One Cute, One Messy

Cute: yesterday at daycare, Eric's teachers said he made a new girlfriend, Hayden. Eric fed her goldfish and "protected" her from other kids. Eric's teachers said it was really sweet!

Messy: today at daycare, Eric popped and decided it would be fun to stick his hands down his pants in the poop. Then little artist started "painting" his clothes and body with the poop...Eric's teachers ending up putting him in the sink and giving him a full body wash. I am going to give Eric's teachers a Starbuck's gift card for dealing with that stinky situation! 

Pumpkin patch!

Today Eric and I ventured to a Virginia Beach pumpkin patch. We had to wait in line but we also got to go on a hay ride and see a few horses. 

Cville Trip!

Last week Eric and I packed up the car and headed to Cville for half a week. Eric did great at his new temporary new daycare (he loved the tool set!) and loved seeing his MJ and Big Poppi! 

First Hair Cut!!

Eric's beautiful locks have gotten a bit too long, so it was finally time for a trim. Tonight, Eric's auntie Rachel (the best hair stylist!) gave him his first professional hair cut! He was such a good boy and very curious about the whole process. Here are a few glamor shots:

Shoes

Eric has become more and more interested in his shoes (and well ours also). He loves to sit on the bottom of the stairs, take out all pairs of his shoes, and try to put them on. Next he puts my shoes on my feet. I guess it is time to get moving and go somewhere!
