MJ & Poppi Visit and a Day off of Work
The MJ and Poppi came down to visit us. We had a great time and enjoyed the sunny weather. Eric had a birthday party at the little gym, we explored the botanical gardens. On Monday, the boys' school was closed for the holiday, so we went to the zoo.

6 months!
8 days ago (on February 3rd), Zach turned 6 months! My aplogies, Zach, for being so tardy on this update. Zach continues to be our sweet and happy boy. And keeps growing! He is 22 lbs and in the 97th percentile for height and weight. He ran out of clean clothes at daycare the other day, and he had to borrow 2T sized clothes! And they fit nicely. He still loves anything Eric does. He is ticklish on his tummy. Has tried more baby food - and loves eating. Went to the pool for the first time, but I only allowed him to be splashed. He can scoot (like an inch worm) any where he wants when he is on his belly...even to get Eric's toys...Can't believe 6 months has flown by!

Fun weekend
We had a busy and fun time this past weekend. Saturday morning, Eric had his swim lessons. Then after the lessons we met our friends the Greens for open swim. It was Zach's first time pool side (he got splashed but I didn't put him in). He didn't fit into Eric's first swim suit (at 9 months Eric wore a 12 month suit)...so I had to put him in one of Eric's old 18 month swim suits! Unfortunately, I didn't get any photos, because iPhones and water don't mix.
Then on Sunday we met Eric's friend, Brayden and his mom and baby brother at the aquarium. Lots of fun!

Mustaches
Today at Eric's school, his teacher told me a cute story. Eric goes up to his teacher, Ms. Meghan, and asks for a mustache. She said if she made him one would he wear it. Eric replied he would. So Ms. Meghan made him a mustache and then he showed it off and had his picture taken (and posted to the daycare Facebook page). It caused such a stir that every kid in Eric's class wanted his/her own mustache too. So after nap time everyone was sporting a mustache.
