Mr. Popular

Eric has been doing really well at daycare these past few weeks. The biting has stopped (for the most part), he is now one of the best behaved kids in his class and he is quite popular. Eric's teacher told me today that the other kids love playing with him. Also she said that his classmates, Carrie and Hunter, talk about Eric at home with their parents a lot. The mention of Eric's name motivates Hunter to listen to his mom and come into school in the mornings!

Dixie visits!...and brings a puppy

Last weekend, Dixie came down to Virginia Beach to visit! We had a great time catching up and Eric loved playing with her. She brought him a cute toy dog that we have to walk everyday now!

Fall Cville Weekend

After getting back from Florida, Eric and I zoomed over to Cville for the rest of the week. I had to meet my new boss and Eric got to play in a new car, "pick" some apples, play in leaves and lots of piano time. Also this weekend, Eric's language took off! He said "Poppi", "night-night", and "NO!" a lot!

Cousin Katie's Florida Wedding Weekend!

This past weekend cousin Katie Collier got married to Todd, so Eric and I made the journey down to Florida for the event! Eric and I flew solo for the first leg of the trip and we met MJ and Poppi in Atlanta for the second part. Eric was a great traveler, but it was also so helpful (and more fun) to have MJ and Poppi there! Eric loved the airport - the planes, people, noises, the airport cars...everything! 

Once we landed in Florida, we kicked off the weekend events with a birthday lunch for Poppi. Friday night we went to Todd's brother's house for a joint rehearsal dinner and trick or treating for the kids. Eric wore a cowboy costume that MJ made. Saturday was the beautiful wedding!! Then Sunday we spent visiting with family and Monday we headed home. Fun family weekend!!
