'Twas a Merry Christmas

For Christmas 2016, we traveled up to the D.C. area to celebrate. On the 23rd, we went to meadow lark gardens to walk through a light show. Betsy, Suzanne and Kevin join us as well. Eric, Betsy and Charlotte decided to "break the rules" by venturing off the path to dance and do yoga. Then on Christmas Eve or Christmas ( depending if you're an American or Swede), we celebrated the holiday Swedish style at Farmor and Farfar's house complete with a visit from Santa himself. MJ and Poppi joined in the fun too! On the morning of the 25th, we had a Christmas breakfast at Suzanne and Kevin's. Thanks to all for the holiday cheer - Christmas success!!

Fun Filled Christmas Day

Today, Eric had his school holiday performance. He did a lot of practicing and was really excited for the performance. His class sang: We Wish You a Merry Christmas, Reindeer Pokey, and Pretty Tree. 

Then after school, we met Ayla and Mason at the Founder's Inn to see Santa. Santa read the kids stories and Eric got a cookie. When Eric got a little antsy during the reading he started singing Jingle Bells...it was a fun Christmas Day!

We have a roller!

Today Zach rolled from his back to his belly! He had a lot of encouragement from his big brother. We are so proud of our bubba!

Weekend stuff

Last weekend, we picked up personalized ornaments (and Zach's first one!), rolled gangster (hood up, shades on), and decorated gingerbread cookies.
