DC Easter!

This past Easter weekend went traveled up to DC to celebrate the holiday. Uncle Hans and Charlotte came in from
Europe to celebrate so we were all together! We got to see the famous cherry blossoms, did an egg hunt and had a lot of fun!

Cute Eric things

Today Eric's daycare was closed, so Christian and I split the day and each took a half day of vacation. Mr. Eric did some really cute things today.
1) he asked to see the baby and then said "good morning brother! How did you sleep?"
2) he took out literally every toy and then turned to me and said "looks it's beautiful, mommy!"
3) we went for a walk and he sat and watched a non-moving crane for about 20 minutes #constructionobsessed

Potty training boot camp

This week we started potty training boot camp at home and at Eric's daycare. Day 1 went really well! He only had one accident. We are so proud of our big boy!

Sometimes reading US Weekly helps with potty training.

Random day off from work

Christian has a conference in Charlottesville today, so I took the day off and spent it with Eric. After dropping daddy off at the conference, we got bagels at Bodos (!) and then headed to the children's discovery museum (of course stopping at a construction site first). After a few hours of playing m, we met our friends Ben, Jake and Amy for a pizza lunch. Now time for a nap!

Wacky Wednesday

And happy birthday, Betsy!!

We voted!

On Super Tuesday, Eric and I (and his red and blue monster trucks) showed to the polls early (7 am). We were greeted by 15 friendly volunteers...and no other voters. So much for the long lines! But we did our civic duty and both got stickers. Go Hillary!
